per mesi ho sostenuto che Google avrebbe realizzato presto un suo sistema operativo gratuito ed open source per computers desktop e portatili (tanto da realizzare un mio blog proprio sull'argomento) ed ho riportato tempestivamente su questo blog la notizia del porting sperimentale di Android su un netbook Asus ma adesso è ufficiale perché, come riportato da varie fonti (come DigiTimes) il presidente di Google Taiwan, Chien Lee-feng, in persona, ha dichiarato che a Taiwan è stato creato un "Android Team" per sviluppare una versione di Android per netbook e per supportare le aziende che adotteranno il SO di Google come alternativa a Windows, il che spiega (come da me spesso detto su vari blogs) l'improvvisa fretta di Microsoft nello sviluppo e nell'introduzione sul mercato (con quasi un anno di anticipo sul previsto) del nuovo e molto più "leggero" Windows 7
non solo, ma, come riportato da Bloomberg Asia Google ha avviato contatti (ma sarebbe meglio chiamarlo pressing...) nei confronti delle aziende produttrici di netbooks per far adottare Android su alcuni loro modelli di computer (in alterativa a Windows) e sembra che un netbook Asus con Android sia già in corso di sviluppo e potrebbe essere presto disponibile sul mercato!

Google will release soon its own FREE and open source operating system for desktop computers and laptops and now that is official, since, as reported by various sources (like DigiTimes) the president of Google Taiwan, Chien Lee-feng, has said that an "Android Team" has been created in Taiwan to develop an Android version for netbooks and to support the PC manufacturers that want to adopt the Google OS as an alternative to Windows, which clearly explains (as I've often said on several IT blogs) the sudden Microsoft's rush in the development and release to the market (nearly one year before than planned) of its new (and much more "light") Windows 7, also (as reported by Bloomberg Asia) Google has launched a partnership to all netbooks' manufacturers to put the Android OS (instead of Windows) on some of their new computers, and, it seems, that Asus will be the first to sell (soon) an Android-driven netbook!
